Everything you need to know about low-hashrate lottery mining and using the AxeFriendly directory.
What is lottery mining?
Lottery mining is solo mining with a low-hashrate device. Each share your miner submits is effectively a ticket for the full block reward. The odds are long, but if you find a block, you keep the entire reward.
What devices can I use?
Small ASICs such as Bitaxe, NerdOctaxe, and NerdQaxe, and non-ASIC ESP32 miners such as Nerdminer, Bitsyminer, Sparkminer, NMMiner, and Axeminer.
How does the latency tool work?
When you press the Ping button, our server opens a real TCP connection to the pool stratum endpoint and measures the round-trip time. Lower latency means a more responsive connection for your miner.
How do I get my pool listed?
Use the Submit Pool page to send us your pool details. We verify every pool is genuinely friendly to low-hashrate lottery miners (10 TH/s and lower) before adding it to the directory.
Is it free to list a pool?
Yes. Listing a lottery-friendly pool in our directory is completely free.
